    Stage 1:
    Pre-filter removes the visible particles while protecting and increasing the life of the HEPA filter.
    Stage 2:
    HEPA filter is 95% efficient at 0.3 microns. Only HEPA filters are rated at 0.3 microns. All other filters, including 95% ashrae filters, are rated using easier test standards. HEPAS are commonly used in clean rooms and hospitals.
    Stage 3:
    Acitivated charcoal removes odors and gasses that pass through all particulate filters as well as electrostatic collectors. Odors and gasses are a major component of cigarette smoke.

    DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION


    The FM-21 and FM-31 are self contained air purifiers complete with motor, blower, and filters. These units are wrapped in a beautiful 20 gage woodgrain laminated steel enclosure providing a beautiful compleiment to any decor. They are designed to operate in any position allowing for wall mount, ceiling mount, floor mount and corner mount. The 90 degrees discharge from intake allows one unit to create an air pattern in a rectangular room as well as allowing the unit to be located in a corner. The unique air flow within the cabinet quietens the air before it is discharged resulting in extrememly quiet operation so necessary for an office environment. Unit plugs into any 110 volt outlet and is provided with a recessed decorative control panel. Filters include a pleated prefilter, 90% D.O.P HEPA, and activated charcoal cell. Primary filters are spring loaded for an airtight seal. Prefilter is retained separate from primary filters, allowing for quick and easy replacement.
